Mild to Wild brochure set to inspire conference groups
Tourism Auckland’s convention bureau, Auckland Business Tourism, has launched its new ‘Mild to Wild’ brochure which features 50 outstanding things to do in Auckland.
The brochure was first produced last year and is designed to entice conference and incentive groups with 50 fun and surprising things to see and do in the Auckland region.
Auckland Business Tourism manager, Anna Hayward, says it’s about highlighting the diversity of what’s on offer in Auckland.
“We were constantly being asked for some really different and exciting group activities. And these are real blow-you-away things to do, like paddling a Maori waka or eating breakfast on the top of the Auckland Harbour Bridge,” says Anna.
Other ‘Mild to Wild’ suggestions include swimming with sharks, making your own wine, enjoying a Bond theme night at the casino or meeting an All Black.
The brochure has also taken on a new look to coincide with Tourism Auckland’s latest marketing campaign as well as incorporating Auckland’s regional brand.
The original version was so well received that this year’s production has doubled. Already 1000 copies of the brochure have been distributed to key clients in Australia.
