Visitor arrivals and researchThe Tournament has an estimated television audience of more than four billion people and we expect at least 85,000 international visitors to come to New Zealand for the event. As with usual visitor flows, the majority will arrive and/or depart through Auckland; and approximately 70 percent of visitors will arrive only for the last two weeks of the Tournament. This report is highly indicative but should provide a useful overview. Please note the assumptions and omissions listed in the report when using these figures for planning purposes.
